As designers, adhering to Biophilic Design principles and positively promoting a relationship between the interior of a building and the external environment, has better outcomes for e.g. patients with access to gardens, natural light and fresh air; students also perform better in eco-classrooms; employees are more productive when their office work-spaces allows nature a place to flourish.
